NavVis Announces Miami and Tampa, Florida IN TOWN Events Featuring NavVis CLX and VLX4

The November 10 & 12 events offer access to the NavVis LX-Series and IVION 12.0, plus networking for surveying, construction, and reality capture professionals.

MIAMI AND TAMPA, FL, UNITED STATES, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- NavVis will host two complimentary IN TOWN events in Florida this November, bringing its reality capture devices and IVION platform to Miami on November 10 and Tampa on November 12. Attendees will have opportunities to experience NavVis CLX and NavVis VLX4, explore IVION 12.0, and compare devices across the full NavVis LX-Series.

Attendance is complimentary, with light refreshments and beverages provided. Advance registration is required to ensure an accurate count for food and beverage service.

Surveying, geospatial, architecture, engineering, construction, building information modeling (BIM), and reality capture professionals are invited. The events provide an opportunity to discuss existing-conditions documentation, capture workflows, and project requirements with the NavVis team. Both experienced users and professionals new to the technology are welcome.

Hands-On Access to the NavVis LX-Series

The program includes live demonstrations, Q&A, and hands-on time with NavVis CLX, NavVis VLX4, NavVis VLX3, and NavVis MLX. Attendees can compare capture devices side by side and discuss where each fits within their work.

NavVis CLX is a compact, handheld capture device designed for documentation-grade reality capture and high-volume, everyday existing-conditions documentation. Applications include site assessment, area referencing, quantity surveying, 2D drafting, and LOD200 Scan-to-CAD/BIM. Its dual-LiDAR architecture and live 2D and 3D coverage feedback help operators assess capture completeness before leaving the site.

NavVis VLX4 is a wearable capture device for projects requiring finer geometric detail. Its three LiDAR configuration delivers 3 mm point cloud resolution for demanding Scan-to-BIM, MEP, and industrial applications. The resulting point clouds help resolve features such as thin pipes, bolts, brackets, and sharp edges.

From Site Capture to Usable Project Data

The events will also introduce what is new in IVION 12.0. IVION Processing turns captures into registered, ready-to-use data, while IVION helps teams manage project data and deliver it to customers in an accessible format. Teams and their customers can explore, measure, and share captured environments, supporting the transition from field capture to downstream documentation and collaboration.

Dedicated networking time will allow attendees to connect with industry peers, exchange practical experiences, and discuss how reality capture fits their organizations’ workflows.

Frank J. Hahnel, III, NavVis Account Executive, will host the Florida events. Hahnel brings more than 25 years of experience in surveying, geomatics, terrestrial laser scanning, SLAM-based mobile mapping, and reality capture workflows. His experience includes helping organizations evaluate and adopt 3D laser scanning technology across surveying, construction, public safety, forensic, and infrastructure applications.
