GOVERNOR DESANTIS APPOINTS TWO UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA GRADS TO APPEALS COURT JNC IN TALLAHASSEE

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Governor Ron DeSantis announced four new appointments to a body that will shape the appeals court district covering Tallahassee.

Two of the appointments to the first district court of appeals judicial nominating commission are University of Florida grads.

Law school grad Jeff Aaron is a founding shareholder of a law firm headquartered in Orlando.

UF undergrad alum Jason Hillborn is a deputy state attorney general.

The other appointments are Tallahassee attorneys Lazaro Fields and Benjamin Gibson.
